CYO Camp Christopher provides a beautiful, natural setting for your group’s next retreat or meeting. Our facilities offer indoor and outdoor amenities for a variety of corporate, social, school and religious groups. With over 165 acres, 4 lakes and a natural bridge Camp Christopher offers a relaxed, comfortable environment for group interaction and team-building activities.

 


Our facilities are fully winterized and include:

  • Large dining hall with a commercial kitchen and seating up to 250 people
  • A recreation hall for indoor group activities and/or meetings
  • 14 heated cabins with accommodations for 200+ people
  • Central bathroom/shower facilities
  • An indoor and outdoor chapel for prayer and reflection
  • Outdoor pavilions

For team building and social activity, Camp Christopher offers:

  • 165 acres of beautiful wooded grounds available for exploration and discovery
  • High Ropes and Low Ropes Challenge Courses to improve confidence and group dynamics
  • Lake Marion with a sandy beach front and opportunities for fishing
  • Outdoor basketball and volleyball courts
  • Softball/baseball field
  • Canoes and kayaks

(Some activities require a fee and trained Camp Christopher staff.)

What are the Ropes Challenge Courses?
The Ropes Challenge Courses improve individual confidence and group dynamics by increasing the level of trust, support and cooperation between participants. With the Low Ropes Challenges Courses, groups are given unique challenges and opportunities to solve problems as a group. With the High Ropes Challenge Course, individuals are challenged to takes leaps of faith with the encouragement of their group. Discussions after the activities further make the challenge courses a valuable learning tool.
